Meditate on the Sound of God’s names -- Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare/Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

Hare is a way of addressing the eternal consort of God, Radharani. Krishna is a name of God that means the all-attractive person, and Rama is another name of God that means the highest pleasure.

To enjoy real pleasure, one must first understand that they are not the material body. We are pure soul and consciousness is the symptom of the soul now merged within this material body. Yet, we can return to our actual spiritual form and be blissful, full of knowledge and have eternal life. This is the actual purpose of evolution. The entire process of liberation begins with hearing and chanting the holy names of God —

Even if you do not understand the language, still, just by hearing you acquire some piety -- it has such power! Anyone, of any religion, who takes up this process of God realization, chanting God's names, will develop love of God and perfect their life.

You may join us for chanting in the temple (see schedule on PROGRAMS page) or on the streets (Fridays, Hollywood Blvd. -- 6 to 8 p.m., Saturdays, Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica -- 6 to 8 p.m.).
