Jagannivas Das

Jagannivas Das earned his Chef’s Degree at the Culinary Institute of New York City in 1983, after having received a degree in Technical Agriculture. He then received a Masters Degree in Herbology and Homeopathy and is now a Natural Health Consultant and Ayurvedic Advisor. Born in Colombia and raised internationally, even as a young child of four he enjoyed participating in his mother’s daily culinary classes at home. With his mother as a respected chef, Jagannivas developed a culinary sense early on in life. Jagannivas taught culinary art for three years and also took a hands-on role with his own intercontinental vegetarian restaurant as head chef and owner in his native city of Cali. He has been a culinary professional for over twenty six years, specializing in international cuisine including Indian, Italian, American, Asian and South American while practicing his art in countries such as India, the United States, England, France and Brazil.
